Reiki is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing. It is administered by a licensed "attuned" practitioner by "laying on hands" and is based on the idea that an unseen "life force energy" flows through us and is what causes us to be alive. If one's "life force energy" is low, then we are more likely to get sick or feel stress, and if it is high, we are more capable of being happy and healthy.

A treatment treats the whole person, including body, mind and spirit, creating many beneficial effects that include relaxation and feelings of peace. Reiki has been effective in helping virtually every known illness and malady and always creates a beneficial effect. It also works in conjunction with all other medical or therapeutic techniques to relieve side effects and promote recovery.

Enjoy a treatment in our inviting Reiki Room, on our heated table. Both Linda Lauren and Susan Dolinko are Usui Reiki Level I and Level II.

Karin is licensed by the state of New York, having completed the required 1,000 hours of science and hands-on education and passed the New York licensing exam. She has also received National Certification by passing the exam of the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork. Karin is also Instructor at Massage Therapy schools in New York and New Jersey and a member of the American Massage Therapy Association.
